Why wasn't there an app for this? And that's how it all began.​

Sumitap was born thanks to two 23 year old guys college buddies and combat sports fanatics.

They tried kickboxing, BJJ, MMA... but could never stay consistent. One of them, a UFC fanatic, noticed his gyms kept using apps made for CrossFit or yoga - totally wrong for fighters. Most didn't use any tech at all.

So they built what would have motivated THEM to train more: Sumitap.

An app where fighters book their classes, track their progress belts, levels, disciplines, achievements and compete against each other in a ranking with a UFC style spirit.

The goal is clear: to motivate you, spark some friendly rivalry with your teammates, and help you stay on track.
